The short version
This page lets you book a free Survey call with Tax Sherpa. If you fill in the short form, we receive your details so we can contact you about the call. We do not sell your data. This policy covers this page and the booking made from it.
What we collect, and only if you send the form
- your first name, email address and mobile number;
- the range you chose for last year's gross commissions, and how your business is set up, as categories;
- your consent, and the exact consent wording you saw;
- if you arrived from one of our ads, the ad's short name, campaign and source.
If your range qualifies for a call and you book a time, the calendar also records the time you chose and any details you enter there.
How we use it
To confirm your Survey call, remind you of it and talk with you on it; to send you information about related tax planning services by email, phone and text message if you agreed to that; and to learn which ads and pages work. If your range does not qualify for a call today, we keep your details and that range so we can contact you later. You can unsubscribe from any email, reply STOP to any text, or write to us (see Contact) and we will stop and delete your record on request.
Text messages
If you agree to texts, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Survey calls
Survey calls are recorded. What you tell us on a call is used to advise you on the solution that fits.
Who handles it
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) holds your contact record, provides the booking calendar on this page, and sends our emails and texts.
- Zapier and Slack pass your name and contact details to our team when you book, so that someone is ready for your call.
- Zoom hosts the call if you take it by video.
- Railway hosts this page's files. It receives ordinary web-server request data (such as your IP address) when you load the page, which is how any website is delivered.
We do not sell your data to anyone for any purpose.
Anonymous step count
The page tells our own server which step was reached (for example “watched a quarter of the video” or “saw the calendar”), the range you chose if you send the form, and, if you arrived from one of our ads, the ad's short name and source. This count carries no name, no email, no phone number and no cookie; it is not shared with anyone, and it is how we learn where the page is unclear.
Analytics and advertising
The page loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-PBHW8VHV), which manages the tools below. As US state privacy laws allow, these tools run unless you opt out: use the “Do not sell or share my info” link at the bottom of any page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, and from then on this site does not load them. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not tracked by them.
| Tool | Purpose | When it runs |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager | Loads and manages the tools below. | Loads on the page unless you have opted out. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and page steps to understand how the page is used. | Runs unless you opt out, and may set analytics cookies. It receives the step reached and the range you chose, never your name, email or phone number. |
| Meta Pixel | Measures advertising results and builds advertising audiences on Facebook and Instagram. | Runs unless you opt out. It reports the page view and a booking. It does not receive anything you type in the form. |
Unless you opt out, these tools may set cookies and share activity on this site with their providers (Google and Meta). Under some state laws that counts as “sharing” for advertising; the opt-out link stops it. These are all the tools this page loads; if that changes, this page changes with it.
Separately, when a Survey call is booked in the online calendar, our contact system reports the booking to Meta through the Meta Conversions API, which may include your contact details in hashed form. If you have opted out, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, when you send the form, we do not show you that calendar. Our team calls you to set up your Survey call instead, and the booking is not reported to Meta.
Your choices
Use the “Do not sell or share my info” link at the bottom of any page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. Do not send the form. To ask us to stop contacting you or to delete your record, write to us (see Contact).
Children
This page is for working adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add a vendor or change what we collect. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
